Gnomes for Mill 180’s design contest!

I spent the last few weeks working hard on some gnomes!  There is a contest at the local hydroponic park for designing their gnomes, and the prizes were pretty good! Also my family and I love to spend time there, so it seemed like a natural fit to try.

The main image is Baldwin, the hydroponic gnome.  He was submitted in the 2D category.  His hat is hydroponic, with local wildflowers growing to support the local community.  I was really proud of that little chipmunk!
I created a video of the process to make him.

It’s made mostly of Premier air dry clay. The skin is done in super sculpey for its translucent qualities.

I find out the results thursday!
